JAMMU, Nov 8: A cross country race was organized in DPS Kathua today.
Around 100 students participated in this race, which was held for both boys and girls.
The race was flagged off by the chairperson of the School, Kamiya Singh Andotra.
The students participated with great enthusiasm and commitment.
D K Kotwal, Principal of the School along with other staff members and students of the School witnessed the race and encouraged the participants.
In the category of boys, Aniket Rajput of Arya House, a student of class 9th got Ist position, while the 2nd position was bagged by Manik Rajput of Bose House, student of class 9th and the 3rd position was claimed by Mukul of Korana House, student of class 11th.
In the girls’ category, Mahima Jasrotia of Khorana House from class 8th obtained the Ist position, while the 2nd position was secured by Aastha Sharma (Bose House), a student of class 7th and Mansi Chouhan of Raman House, student of class 10th got 3rd position.
Principal of the School, D K Kotwal motivated the participants for taking part in sports and allied activities.
