DPS Jammu organizes Quiz Competition

JAMMU, Aug 29: Delhi Public School (DPS), Jammu organized an Inter-House Quiz Competition in the School premises, here today.
The five Houses of the School were designated as Trend Setters (Chenab House), Initiators (Ganga House), Discoverers (Jhelum House), Innovators (Tawi House) and pioneers (Yamuna House).
The Competition was divided into four interesting rounds namely Clincher, Rapid fire, Audio-visual and Quick fire.
The Quiz Master Sunil Sharma announced the rules and regulation of the competition and asked questions related to History, Geography, Sports, Civics, Music and Current Affairs. The participants took part in the competition with great enthusiasm.
The competition was adjudged by Umesh Sharma, Co-ordinator Senior wing and Ravi Katrro, Examination In-charge.
The Discoverers (Jhelum House) bagged the Ist position, while pioneers (Yamuna House) and Innovators (Tawi House) got second and third position respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr D Joseph, Additional Director / Principal Delhi Public School, Jammu congratulated the winners and said that such competitions are very essential for the students to increase their knowledge and competitive spirit.
