DPS Jammu organizes Hindi Recitation Competition

JAMMU, Aug 11: To enjoy the beauty of rhyme and rhythm, a ‘Hindi Recitation Competition’ was organized for the students of class II of Delhi Public School, here today.
The theme for the event was ‘Patriotism’. The students presented variety of interesting poems with good introduction and presentation. The listeners were mesmerized by the confidence exhibited by the students as they recited the poems with great enthusiasm.
Ayan Bhola and Aayat Fatima stood Ist, Apoorva Dalwat and Katyani Pandotra got 2nd prize, Parima Sharma and Suhavi Mahajan claimed IIIrd position while Jagrit Kumar and Sarvaan Gupta got consolation prizes. The competition was adjudged by Seema Tuli and Payal Tandon.
Speaking on the occasion, Meenu Gupta, Headmistress, DPS Jammu said that such competitions offer an opportunity to develop competitive spirit in the students and help them to learn with fun.
Principal,  Ruchi Chabra, DPS Jammu lauded the efforts of the winners.
