DPS Jammu declared No-1 CBSE School in J&K

JAMMU, Dec 11: For serving the state with quality education for two decades and for its exemplary contribution in the field of education,Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu was awarded the title of No.-1 CBSE School in J&K by a survey conducted by Education Today at the ‘India School Merit Awards- 2016’ ceremony held at Bangalore on December 10.
The Principal, Ruchi Chabra was conferred with these two awards for Delhi Public School, Jammu. These awards are based on Jury Rating, Parent’s Votes (28,510 votes) & Education Today. Co’s Team Analysis (Perception based).
Top 150 Schools in ‘International, Boarding, CBSE, ICSE, State, Army, Boys & Girls’ category were selected out of over 836 Survey Forms received by the independent jury which  categorized the schools under 10 Parameters  i.e., Academic Reputation, Individual Attention, Infrastructure Provision, Innovative Teaching, Safety & Hygiene, Sports Education, Value for Money, Holistic Development, Leadership Management Quality  and Co-curricular Activities and gave away different awards. DPS Jammu received award for overall No. 1 CBSE school of J&K and No. 1 school in Jammu city for its exemplary contribution in the field of education.
Expressing satisfaction and happiness on the occasion, President- RCT, MK Ajatshatru Singhi, PVC -DPS Jammu, Kunwrani Ritu Singh, Director- DPS Jammu, SS Sodhi  lauded the efforts of Principal, staff members, students and parents  for this achievement.
