POONCH, Aug 29: Divisio-nal Level Inter-District Football Tournament, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports concluded at Boys Higher Secondary School ground, here today.
District Development Comm-issioner, Poonch, Tariq Ahmed Zargar was the chief guest on the occasion, while SSP Poonch, Rajiv Pandey and Major Mukesh 39 RR were the guests of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Narinder Mohan Suri, Principal GHSS Poonch, Sudarshan Kumar, Principal BHSS Poonch and the staff members of DYSSO Poonch.
In Under-14 boys, Jammu beat Poonch by 5-0 goals, while in Under-17 boys, Jammu defeated Poonch by 3-0 goals and in Under-19 boys, Poonch got the better of Udhampur by 3-1 goals.
In Under-19 girls, Poonch blanked Kathua by 5-0 goals.
The matches were officiated by technical panel of officials including Rajinder Singh Sr, Rajinder Singh Jr, Bhopinder Singh, Narinder Singh, Jatinder Kumar, Pawandeep Singh, Mohinder Bali, Vipon Kumar, Mohd Shabir and Rajinder Singh Toofan.
The Tournament was organized under the overall supervision of Mohd Ayaz Khan, DYSSO Poonch.
