JAMMU, Dec 1: A Divisional Level Folk Dance Competition was organized by the team of Directorate of School Education Jammu at Govt. Higher Secondary School Satwari Jammu in which the winners of the different three stages were invited to participate, here.
Tsetan Dolkar Joint director, Directorate of School Education was the chief guest, S. Bupinder Singh Tirthi, retired Deputy Director Central Sports was the guest of honour.
Bodh Raj Meania and Mohd Akram Khan Coordinator DSE Jammu and Dr Sushma Rani, In-charge Cultural Cell were the organizers.
The Competition was held to explore hidden talent of the students and was divided into three stages.
Govt HSS Khoon secured 1st position , while the teams of Govt. Hr. Sec School Garhi won second spot. Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School Satwari and Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School Jakh shared 3rd position. J R Sharma, Suresh Kumar and S. Bhopinder Singh Thirthi were the jury members.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest appreciated the efforts of the participants of dance groups from different schools.
