JAMMU, Nov 13: All J&K Chess Association successfully conducted the Jammu Divisional Under-13 Open and Girls Championship at Perfect Foundation Public School, here today.
Tanmay Jamwal won the title of Open Under-13 Category, while Alankrita Sharma and Panache Gupta stood 2nd and 3rd respectively, while in Girls Under-13 Age Group, Ashwiina Raina clinched the title trophy, while Alankrita Sharma stood runner-up.
The winning players of Divisional level under 13 years category from Jammu and Kashmir division are eligible to participate in the upcoming National Championship 2022-23. The tournament was played under FIDE Laws and five rounds Swiss system, wherein the chief arbiter of the tournament was Arvindu Sharma.
