Division Level Inter-District Kho-Kho for Girls gets underway

REASI, Sept 29: Minister of State for  Finance, Planning, IT, CAPD, Law Justice & Parliamentary Affairs, Relief & Rehabilitation, Ajay Nanda, inaugurated the Division Level Inter District Kho-Kho for Girls Under-14, 17 and 19 years at General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium, here today.
While speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest highlighted the steps being taken by the Administration for the promotion of Sports, particularly for the female folk. He assured that he would provide all possible support to the Department of Youth Services & Sports District Reasi.
The Kho-Kho contingents from Jammu, Samba, Rajouri, Kathua, Udhampur and Reasi are taking part in this Two Day long sporting event at Reasi.
The tournament matches are being officiated by Narayan Singh, Ashnak Sharma, Balwan Singh, Romesh Chander, Harpreet Kour, Goutam Kundal and Mohd Riaz
Results: Under-19 Section: In the second semifinal Udhampur lost to Kathua by 3-4. The first inning scores were 1-2, while in the first semifinal, Samba drubbed Rajouri by 8-4.The first inning scores were 5-2
Earlier, n the 2nd Match, Samba beat Jammu by 7-2.The first inning scores were 4-2, while in the 1st match, Reasi lost to Kathua by 6-10.The first inning scores were 3-6.
Under-17 Section: In 2nd semifinal, Reasi beat Jammu by 2-1. The first innings scores were 1-0, while in 1st semifinal, Udhampur beat Kathua by 9-2. The first innings scores were 4-1.
In the 1st match, Jammu beat Samba by 6-3. The first innings scores were 4-2.
Under-14 Section: In second Semifinal, Reasi beat Samba by 7-6. The first innings scores were 3-2, while in first semifinal, Udhampur defeated Jammu by 13-9. The first innings scores were 6-5.
