SAMBA, Nov 22: District Samba Kho-Kho Championship was organised by District Association under the aegis of J&K Kho-Kho Association and J&K Sports Council at Modern Institute of Education, Sumb, here today.
A total of 11 teams of under-14 and under-17 in boy’s category participated in this championship wherein Baldev Singh, Sarpanch Patyari Panchayat was the chief guest and Suraj Prakash Verma was the guest of honour during the event.
In the under-14 category, Nav Vidya Lead School Dhalot emerged as winners, while Modern Institute of Education Sumb remained runner-up, besides in under-17, Govt Higher Secondary School Nud secured the winning trophy, whereas Modern Institute of Education Sumb remained runner-up.
