District Table Tennis C’ship concludes

RAJOURI, Nov 29: District Rajouri Table Tennis Championship, organised by Rajouri District Table Tennis Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, concluded at Indoor Sports Stadium, here today.
The event was organised in categories including Sub junior, Junior and Senior for both boys and girls. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Thakur Sher Singh was the chief guest for the closing ceremony and Liyakat Hussain, Superintendent of Police and Dr Naseem Ahmed Malik, Professor Government PG College Rajouri were the guests of honour.
About 52 players participated in the championship. The chief guest speaking on the occasion congratulated the organisers for organising the championships and encouraged the players with his inspiring words.
In Sub-junior boys, Aman Kumar emerged as winner and Hummeal Malik clinched runner-up position while Sub-Junior girls Vasundra Chib bagged top position and Liaba Naveen secured runner-up position.
In Junior boys category, Kershwar Singh clinched top position whereas Aryan bagged runner-up position while Junior girls category, Vagisha Chib stood 1st while Reebah Bashir bagged runner-up position.
Dr Yasir Thakur succeeded to win Senior boys title while Kulwant Singh Chib remained runner-up of Senior boys category.
