SRINAGAR, July 8: The two days District Srinagar Table Tennis Championship 2019, organized by District Srinagar Table Tennis Association concluded at Indoor Sports Complex, here.
Around 100 players took part in the Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior categories. Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar, Manager Indoor Stadium was the chief guest, while Manager Gindun Stadium, Sheikh Tulal Ahmad was the guest of honour.
The chief guest while distributing prizes among the medal winners, lauded their efforts for good show.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that sports is the best medium to keep ourselves physically and mentally fit.
The Championship was organised by Srinagar District Table Tennis Association under the aegis of J&K Table Tennis Association and was sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
“District Shopian Championship will be held on July 13 and 14, 2019,” informed Secretary of the Association.
