KATHUA, Sept 14: Minerva Public School Barnoti, District Kathua Speedball Association was formed under the guidance of S P Langer senior advisor J&K Sports Speedball Association, today.
Mr Langer laid out plans for the upcoming tournaments and also the process of flourishing this game into the far flung areas of district Kathua.
This meeting was just a starting step made by the State Association in the district in order to start up enhancing the game into every school, every area and every district.
The interaction also took an interesting turn when Mr Langer said to organize an inter school at Kathua before the State championship which is supposed to be in the first week of November.
The association is members formed are Mahipal Sharma (chairman Minerva public school) as president , N C Sharma (chairman Shastri Memorial School) as joint secretary, G S Katal (chairman Navadarsh Higher Secondary School as advisor secretary, Sheetal Sharma (Principal Minerva Public School) as board members Rajat Sharma (coach), Darshan Kumar (Govt PET), Ankit Sharma (speedball coach) , Arun Trisal (journalist) along with S.P.Langer , Anil Nanda (president), Sunny Nanda (general secretary), Manika Sharma (joint secretary) Sahil Janjua (member).
On the occasion general secretary of State Speedball Association presented a great immense pleasure while the formation of district Kathua Speedball Association and also ended the meet with a vote of thanks.
