RAJOURI, Mar 5: District Rajouri Table Tennis Championship concluded with an impressive valedictory function, here today.
Principal Govt PG College Rajouri, Dr Shakeel Ahmed Raina was the chief guest on the concluding function, who distributed prizes among the winners and runner-up players.
Convener of the Sports Committee, Asadulla Khan, Anwar Shah and Zamir A Mirza were present on the occasion.
The Championship was held under the supervision of Tanveer Ahmed, Assistant Physical Director.
In men’s senior, Dr Naseem Ahmed emerged as winner, while Dr Mohd Saleem was the runner-up.
In veteran men’s group, Sudhir Chadha was the winner and Rakesh Puri claimed the runners-up trophy, while in sub junior boys, Suneet Sharma was the winner and Imtiyaz Manhas as the runners-up.
In junior boys, Sagar Singh bagged the title, while Labish Kochar was the runners-up.
Menwhile, in sub junior girls, Sapna Devi bagged the title trophy and Lakshmi was the runners-up, while in junior girls, Shilpa Sharma clinched the title and Samiksha remained runners-up.
Reema Verma won the women’s senior title, while Hitashi claimed the runners-up trophy.
