REASI, Aug 31: Month long District Level Inter Zonal Tournament in all age groups was inaugurated in the Zorawar Singh Sports Complex here in the disciplines of Football, Cricket, Volleyball , Kho-Kho and Badminton .
In the tournament around 500 players expected to show their talent in all the disciplines.
The teams drawn from all the zones of District Reasi are participating in this competitons.
Rajender Kumar Sharma, Additional Deputy Commiss-ioner Reasi was the chief Guest in the inaugural ceremony and also declared the tournament open.
Speaking on the occasion, he boosted the morale of the participants and also aware them about the importance of physical fitness among the youth that will plays a vital role in nation building.
Earlier, Subash Chander Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Reasi presented the welcome address and apprised the chief guest about the month long tournament.
The tournament is being organised as a part of Annual calender of activities by District Youth Services & Sports Officer Reasi under the overall supervision of Dr Saleem ur Rehman, Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K and kind consent of Indu Kanwal Chib, Deputy Commissioner Reasi.
All the Standard Operation Procedures was strictly followed during the conduct of the tournament
The matches were officiated by Jagdev Singh, Rahul Bakshi, Ankush Sharma, Sahil Sharma, Anoop Jyoti, Rajan Kumar

Football (U-19 ): Reasi Zone beat Arnas Zone by 3-0. The goal scorer were Aryan Syal, Abhay Kumar & Nasir
Football (U-17 ): Reasi Zone beat Pouni Zone by 1-0 in nail-biting match. The lone goal scorer for zone Reasi was Arun Sharma.
