KATHUA, Mar 21: District Kathua Judo Championship, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Judo Association, under the aegis of J&K State Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association concluded at District Coaching Centre, here today.
Khajur Singh was the Chief Guest on the occasion who inaugurated this day-long Championship, while the Championship was organized under the chairmanship of Shakti Gupta.
About 80 Judokas from different schools of Kathua District participated in the Championship.
The gold medal winners included Danish, Sumit Chadha, Goutam, Ravis Sharma, Mohd Irfan, Alankrit Patyal, Mohit, Goutam, Anirudh Singh, Vishabjeet , Bagh Hussain, Rajan Singh, Sumit Gupta, Amit, Surjit Kumar, Pushp Thakur, Navya Gupta and Vidhusi, while the silver medal went to Sajad, Razwan, Kanav Gupta, Viney Sharma, Sidarth Verma, Parudev Singh, Rajinder, Kanav Gupta, Vishesth Thakur, Mohd Bilal, Pawan Singh, Varun Kumar, Lakshit Sharma and Bhairya.
The bronze medal were claimed by Gourav Sharma, Somyan, Sanjay Kumar, Sadiq, Naveen, Rajinder Sen, Rohan, Satish Kumar, Karan Dev, Isha and Alka.
