JAMMU, Feb 20: Jammu and Kashmir Chess Association is going to hold various District Chess Championships from February 22.
District Jammu Chess Championship of all age groups will be held at Hotel Nek Below Gumat on February 22. The players desirous to take part in this championship can contact with Vivek Bharti (8825076212) for registration.
District Udhampur Chess event will be organised at Nehru Memorial HSS on February 24 and players can contact Ajit Singh (9906017469) for participation, whereas players of Ramban District can contact with Rohit Bhardwaj (7006367269) for participation, the event is scheduled to be held at Community Hall Ramban on February 24.
Samba District Chess will be organised on February 26 at Shishu Niketan High School Samba and the players can contact with Jangbir Singh (9419152867), whereas Rajouri District Chess Championship will be held on February 28 at Global Education Mission Academy Kotranka and players desirous to participate can contact with JR Thakur (9906324307).
The District Kathua Chess Championship will be organised at Govt Middle School, Rajbagh Ward No. 10 on February 28 and interested players can contact with Ravi Sharma (7889590407) besides Poonch District Championship will hold at Hari Memorial Model Public Academy on March 9 and players desirous to take part in this championship can contact with Vikas Sharma (9622250040).
