SAMBA, Dec 13: DIET, Samba organized sixth two day Science Exhibition which concluded today.
Joint Director (Trgs)/ Principal State Institute of Education Jammu HR Pakhroo was the chief guest.
The chief guest while interacting with the participants and teachers appreciated the role played by the teachers in exploring the talents of the students and advised teachers to involve more and more students in such activities in order to achieve the objectives of such programmes to greater extent.
The programme was attended by Principals of various HSS, ZEOs, Headmasters and some prominent educationist from the district.
Earlier, Dhananter Singh, DEPO–HoD –DIET-Samba welcomed the guests and dignitaries. R. K Hakim HoD- DIET Samba presented the annual report. Vote of thanks was presented by Jail Kumar Principal DIET, Samba. The Proceedings of the programme were conducted by Sh. RK Hakim–HoD–DIET-Samba.
A colourful cultural programme was presented by the students of Girls High School Tarore and St. Antony Convent School Gagore Vijaypur on the occasion.
The Judgment about the Students inherent potential was done by SIE Jammu team comprising of Om Parkash Field Advisor, Ashok Kumar Sharma R O, Madan Gopal Gupta RO and Ajmer Singh RO.
The chief guest distributed prizes among the participatory schools adjudged 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, besides giving away consolation prices in different categories.
The prizes were also given to schools who presented cultural programmes during the valedictory session.
