Basohli, Nov 11: DIET Basohli organized 28th District Level Science Exhibition at GHSS Kathua, today.
In this Exhibition 120 Science models of different innovative ideas were displayed.
At Higher Secondary level 32 models were displayed, 40 from secondary stage and 48 from elementary stage. Science teachers and students have put their sincere efforts to make these models by exploring their scientific temper and talent.
A team of 4 officers came from SIE Jammu for judgments who have selected 9 best models 3 from each category for Divisional Level Competition.
On the valedictory function, R A lnqalabi, Director School Education Jammu was the chief guest and H R Pakhroo, Joint Director Training /Principal SIE Jammu was guest of honour.
At elementary stage, Girls Middle School Kathua, Middle School Kathua ‘B’ and Girls MS Hiranagar claimed first, second and third position respectively, while at Secondary stage, Govt High School Bhallar (Barnoti), Govt. High School Janglote and Govt High School Uchhapind claimed the first three positions respectively and at Higher Secondary stage, Girls HSS Kathua, Boys HSS Kathua and Govt HSS Sallan claimed first, second and third position respectively.
Principal DIET, Joginder Kumar presented vote of thanks, while Vice Principal Ajay Gupta, Rakesh Sharma, Kewel Krishan, Pawan Kumar and Asha Kiran were present on the occasion.
