DIC Ramban organises Symposium

RAMBAN,  Feb 26: To create awareness among the people of the District Ramban especially student community regarding  Cleanliness and Sanitation, District Information Centre (DIC) Ramban today organized a Symposium on the topic “cleanliness and sanitation is not a onetime campaign” in the premises of  Kamal Academy High School (KAHS), Chanderkote.
Chairman, KAHS, Dharam Chand Anthal was the chief guest and Principal of host institution, Abdul Khaliq presided over the function whereas RK Kichlu was the guest of honour.
Collection of opinions were expressed by the speakers on the topic in which Nazia Bali was adjudged as 1st, while Jagriti Rajput and Insha Shafiq secured 2nd and 3rd position in their performance among 10 participants drawn from different classes.
Speaking on the occasion Principal threw light on the topic and appealed to the students to continue with sanitation drive.
Earlier, guest speakers Including, Tahir Mushtaq, Usha Devi, Seema Rajput and Meena Singh in their address explained that sanitation and cleanliness is an inseparable part of human life so it should be adopted for each and every moment a person lives on earth.
A colourful cultural programme of dance and singing was also presented by the Pardeep Singh and party and others which mesmerized the audience on the occasion.
Later, commendation certificates and trophies were also distributed among the students who participated and outshined in the symposium.
