DIC organizes debate competition

KISHTWAR, Dec 10: District Information Centre Kishtwar organized a debate competition on the topic “Advantages and disadvantages of science” at Government Girls High School Atholi Paddar.  Dr Nawab Tundup was the chief guest on the occasion
Twelve students participated in the competition in which Vanshika Chouhan, Pooja Devi and Monika Devi all students of class 10th got first, second and third positions respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest said that it is very important to promote the art of public speaking among the students and such competitions give the right opportunity to develop confidence in   students to express their views freely .
Prizes were also distributed among the winners by the chief guest.
