KATRA (Reasi), Sept 29: All India devotional song competition as a part of Navratra Festival 2022, being organised by SMVD Shrine Board, Department of J&K Tourism, PTC Punjabi Gold and Patanjali Dantkanti, entered Day-3 at Yog Ashram Complex, here today.
Today’s event was inaugurated by Ravi Kumar (Singer) by lighting of traditional lamp in presence of Swami Yoganand ji Maharaj and chairman All India Devotional Song Committee and president Hotel Association Katra, Rakesh Wazir.
On the third day of the competition, Vicky Wadalli from Pathankot took 1st position, Chetan Sanmotra from Katra stood 2nd and Reema Devi from Kanyala and Aditya from Jammu shared 3rd position.
Rakesh Wazir while speaking on the occasion elaborated that the winners of previous mega finals of All India devotional song competition who are lined up for their performances.
The grand finale of the competition will be held on 4th of October and winners will be awarded with gold amounting to Rs 3 lakh and a recording contract with Venus Records and Tapes Ltd and likewise the runners up will also get gold worth one lakh and 50000 respectively.
The competition was judged by panels of experts in music including Dr Surinder Sharma HoD Govt. Degree College Sanjoli Himachal Pradesh and Dr Anupma Sharma Ex. HoD PG Music Department, Government College Parade and Dr CL Verma, Ex Chairman, Post Graduate University of Himachal Pradesh.
The celebrity singer and former winners of All India devotional song competition, Ravi Raghuvanshi graced the occasion with his stunning performances. The proceedings of the competition were conducted by Rakesh Wazir.
Wazir said that preliminary rounds of the competition will continue till 1st of Oct and any one can enrol by simply making a call on 9419915907.The live telecast of the event is available on PTC Punjabi Gold from 9 PM onwards daily.
