JAMMU, Sept 18: A delegation of Roll Ball Association of J&K, led by working president Omar Mustafa Veeri called upon Advisor to Lieutenant Governor Farooq Khan and discussed various issues related to Roll Ball in the J&K Union Territory, here today.
They demanded appointment of the outstanding players in Government jobs under SRO 349, a separated Roll Ball ground in Jammu city and for holding a national level event in Srinagar.
The Advisor said that the Government is taking numerous steps for the betterment of all the sports and games and especially attention to those games which are not recognised at national /international level. “Government is trying to catch raw talent (players) so as to prepare them for national events by providing the best coaching and facilities,” he added.
Madhu Khajuria, Sudhir Singh, Hiteshwar Singh and Rashak Jandial were part of the delegation.
