KISHTWAR, Mar 15: Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav inaugurated Cricket turf pitch and steel footbridge at Panchayat Inderwal-B while playing field at Panchayat Chhatroo Upper, here today.
The inauguration was done by the DC during his extensive tour of Block Inderwal and inaugurated various sports and public utility facilities.
He was accompanied by SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar, BDO Inderwal Tasleem Wani, BMO Chatroo Dr. Saima besides other officers and PRIs.
During the visit, the DC inaugurated a Cricket pitch at Panchayat Inderwal-B, constructed under MGNREGA in presence of SDM Chatroo, BDO Inderwal and PRIs and locals.
It is pertinent to mention that this is the 5th turf pitch dedicated by the District administration to Panchayat of far flung areas of the district, where the playfields are not available.
The Deputy Commissioner also inaugurated a steel footbridge at Kalamsoie area of Panchayat Inderwal -A, Block Inderwal, constructed under Capex and dedicated it to the people.
Meanwhile, the DC also inaugurated a play field developed under CD and Panchayat fund constructed by RDD in Panchayat Chatroo Upper and also handed over the sports kit to youth.
The DC Kishtwar also listened to the grievances of people and assured them for timely redressal.
