JAMMU, Mar 15: Deshmesh Club Nanak Nagar and Khalsa Club registered wins in the ongoing Senior Hockey Tournament (Men), organized by Hockey J&K and sponsored by J&K Sports Council at Astroturf Hockey Stadium, here today.
Dashmesh Club Nanak Nagar defeated MBS Simbal Camp by 4 goals to 1, while Khalsa Warriors Trounced Bandu Rakh Hockey Club by 7 goals to 1.
Dr Anitipal Singh (Orthopedician) introduced the players as a guest of the match in presence of Rajinder Singh (Senior vice president Hockey J&K), GS Bakshi (Former secy. general Hockey J&K), Ishan Sharma (Treasurer Hockey J&K), Supinder Deep Singh Bakshi (Secy. general Hockey J&K) and others.
The matches were officiated by a technical panel including Gurjit Singh (International Hockey player), Ishtiaq Hussain, Jagjit Singh, Balmeet Singh and D. Singh.
Khalsa Warriors will lock horns with AKS Club tomorrow at 3.30pm.
