JAMMU, Feb 14: Cultural extravaganza displayed by tiny tots of Daffodils Care Convent Play way School Jain Bazar amidst thunderous applause by parents, marked school’s 5th Annual Day Function organized at Abhinav Theatre, here today.
Chairman, Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal was the chief guest while Manikarnika Bhasin, Founder Principal Mount Litera Zee School was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The glistering ceremony commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp followed by recitation of Gaytri Mantra and Saraswati Vandhna. Showcasing the theme of the Annual Day ‘Maa-Paa’ an eternal bond of love, was the spirit towards the achievement of goal.
The Daffodilians presented a well weaved story through various dances, plays and skits of Maa Paa in one’s life, especially for those children who are living in orphanages and are deprived of the love & Warmth of their parents.
The kids in one play portraying as orphans sent an eye watering message to the blessed children who should be thankful to their parents for all the love, care and affection they are getting from them and should not complain to them for anything. A dance performance by the daughters, with their fathers brought tears in everybody’s eyes. The vibrant Giddha and Bhangra was the king on the cake.
While addressing the gathering, the chief guest Zorawar Singh Jamwal appreciated the efforts of the school in providing quality education to the students and helping them in all-round development.
Earlier, Principal of the School, Shikha Puri presented annual report while MD, Renu Mahajan presented a welcome address.
The programme was conducted by Akriti Gupta, while Chairman Narinder Gupta presented vote of thanks.
