Cycle Rally organized by Air Force Station culminates

JAMMU, Mar 31: A Cycle Rally organized by Indian Air Force culminated at Air Force Station Jammu yesterday.
The Rally led by Air Commodore Ashutosh Lal, Air Officer Commanding. Air force Station Jammu with his team of 30 members started from Shahsitar (Poonch) on March 29, 2016 and finally reached Jammu on March 30.
The team led by Air Officer Commanding also consisted of three Lady Officers and air warriors during the Rally. The Rally was routed through Bimbar Gali, Manjakot, Rajoury Kalakot, Shalyarchatta, Sunderbani and Akhnoor covering a distance of around 300 kilometers in two days.
Team Jammu successfully encountered and handled the steep climbs and slopes of the Pir Panjal and Kalidhar mountain ranges and other challenging hurdles.
The mission of Rally was to reach out to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
