Cueists putting in consistent efforts to qualify league matches on Day-3

JAMMU, Oct 8: Cueists putting in their consistent efforts to qualify the league matches on the Day-3 of the 1st J&K State Six Red Ball Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association (JKBSA), at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In the first match, Umar beat Marshal Datta by 32. In the inaugural frame, Umar registered win by 36-19 and the game was equalized by Marshal after winning the second frame by 22-13. Marshal raised the lead over Umar by winning the third frame by 42-11, but the passionate Umar bounced back and won the fourth and fifth frame by 28-27 and 40-16 respectively.
Ankit Gupta smashed Aaryaman Mahajan by 3-1 in the second game. Aaryaman made a good start and won the first frame by 47-22 and Ankit equalized the game by winning the second frame by 37-07. Ankit won the third frame by 48-09 and again registered win in the fourth frame by 40-00.
In the third match, Arjun Singh outplayed Pankaj Kumar by 3-2. Arjun won the first frame by 39-22 and again registered win in the second frame by 49-18. Pankaj bounced back and won the third frame by 28-18 and equalized the game by winning the fourth frame by 48-09. In the decider frame, Arjun registered win by 42-02.
Sourav Dogra registered win over Padam Gupta by straight 3-0 frames in the fourth match with the score of 40-01, 34-10 and 47-08, while in the fifth match, Rajat Khanna beat Ravneet Singh by 3-2. Rajat won the first frame by 42-01 and the game was equalized by Ravneet by winning the second frame by 30-26. The third frame was won by Rajat by 41-09 and Ravneet registered win in the fourth frame by 33-25 to equalize the game. In the decider frame, Rajat registered win over Ravneet by 36-11.
In the sixth match, Rohit Sharma outclassed Sabi by straight 3-0 frames and the score was 38-31, 31-17 and 44-04, whereas in the seventh match, Basit Wani defeated Aqib Farooq by 3-0 (46-05, 35-21 and 36-35), in the eighth match, Abhishek Goswami beat Sanraj Singh by 3-0 with the score of 49-17, 43-14 and 46-16, in the ninth match, Aman Chowdhary got walkover against Azan Rashid and in the tenth match, Rishab Bamba registered win over Ishan Khajuria by straight 3-0 frames with the score of 37-27, 30-21 and 42-08.
Ankush Sharma beat Tarun Kerni by 3-1 in the eleventh match. Tarun won the first frame by 47-19, but lost the next three frames to Ankush by 52-18, 37-07 and 29-26.
In the twelfth match, Ananya smashed Aporv by straight 3-0 frames and the score was 30-17, 32-12 and 36-23 and in the thirteenth and last match of the day, Satyjeet beat Gurjeev Singh by 3-1 (32-13, 32-13, 24-38 and 50-16).
The matches were being held under strict supervision of the JKBSA members and played with the rules and regulations of Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).
Rakesh Sharma acted as marker of the tournament.
