Srinagar, Apr 4: Param-ilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today handed over a newly constructed Basketball Court and Sports Accessories to Government Higher Secondary School in Nihalpora village of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A CRPF spokesman said the event was presided over by DIG CRPF (North Kashmir) RK Yadav and was organized under overall supervision of Commandant of 176 Battalion CRPF K A Ningam. He said the school staff and senior officers from CRPF, Indian Army, police and administration also graced the occasion with their presence.
“An exhibition Basketball Match was also played portraying sportsmanship of school teams. Besides school children presented colorful cultural programs depicting theme of drug abuse, Kashmiri culture and communal harmony,” he said.
