Commerce carnival on ‘Pich Your Idea’ 2022 organised

JAMMU, Feb 7: Jammu Sanskriti School organised its annual fest commerce carnival (Pitch Your Idea)-2022 to enhance the commercial acumen of young pupils, here today.
The competition was open to students from class 9th to 12th, wherein about 17 Schools from different parts of the country participated.
The Principal cum vice-chairperson of the School gave a welcome address before eminent leaders of education. Coordinators from different sections of the School also extended their gratitude to the respective esteemed guests of the occasion.
Dr Hardeep Chahal Professor and HoD Commerce University of Jammu was the chief guest. She inspired the participants to gain business acumen in the era of globalisation, while Trilok Singh Bist, Principal DPS Ghaziabad Vasundara was the guest of honour. He appreciated the endeavour taken by the School and apprised the participants asserting that the real value of commerce stream lies in its application as commerce is the backbone for the economic development of the nation.
Kunal Anand Principal DPS Udhampur and Rajesh Rathore Principal Shree Ram Universal School also graced the occasion, while the event was adjudicated by renowned specialist in the Commerce sector Dr Atul Hans, Principal IDRS Jammu and Shakun Choudhary, senior coordinator GD Goenka School Jammu.
The participants pitched their business ideas with confidence and zeal that is required for a successful entrepreneur. The participants were also countered by the justified and interesting questions put forth by the judges. Birla Open Minds International School clinched first position, while RMG International School and KC Public School Jammu shared 2nd position and Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu and Presentation Convent School also shared 3rd position, besides first consolation prize was awarded to DPS Amritsar and APS Jammu Cantonment and 2nd consolation prize was awarded to MV International School and IDPS Jammu.
Rohini Aima Principal of the host School asserted that carnival has fulfilled its purpose of igniting the spark of entrepreneurship and the essence and scope of the corporate sector.
The event was compered by the Sanskritians Rashmi Rajput and Shubneek Kour, while the vote of thanks was presented by Sushant Chakharia. The whole programme was executed by co-ordinators Ishant Arora and Sarika Sharma.
