SAMBA, May 8: CMP Nud defeated NV Dhalote in a close contest by one point to lift the kho-kho boys Under-17 title trophy of the ongoing Inter-School Tournament, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at various zones, here.
The tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Jarpal Singh, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Samba.
At Samba zone, in kho-kho, Under-17 boys, MIE Sumb trounced NV Dhalote by one point, while in kabaddi Under-14 boys, MIE Sumb got better of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir by 10 points.
NV Dhalote got better of HS Taloor by 23 points to bag Under-17 boys kabaddi title, while in volleyball Under-14 boys MS Sadoh prevailed over NV Dhalote by (3-0) sets.
In volleyball Under-17 boys, hs Nanakchak thrashed KJC School Samba by three sets to one (3-1).
At Vijaypur zone, Under-14 kho-kho title went to BBN School, ehile Under-17 title was claimed by Neta Ji Academy.
MS Ranjari bagged the Under-14 kabaddi title, while HSS Jakh won the Under-17 boys kabaddi title.
At Ramgarh zone, Under-14 kabaddi title was claimed by MIER HSS Khanpur, while the volleyball Under-17 title went to HS Suchani, defeating HSS Rahya by (2-0) sets.
At Ghagwal zone, volleyball Under-14 boys title was claimed by HS Chak Sadda.
