Civil Defence Camp inaugurated at Bhargava Public School

JAMMU, Feb 2: Civil Defence Camp for 5 days was inaugurated in the premises of Bhargava Public School, here today.
Dr Rajiv Sharma, Chief Medical Officer Samba was the chief guest on the occasion, while Deputy Controller Civil Defence Samba, Ashutosh Sharma (DySP) was the guest of honour. Prominent among other guests were Chief Warden, Dharamvir Singh, Post Warden Civil Defence, Rajeshwar Singh and Dr Sandeep Raina from Health Department Samba were present during the event.
Dr Raina delivered a lecture on medical First Aid and also demonstrated techniques of rescue as well as First Aid.
A highly skilled rescue operation team of state disaster response force (SDRF) trained the students and staff with their skills.
Disaster related equipments were also being displayed and demonstrated by the team. Speaking on the occasion Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Ashutosh Sharma enlightened the students and the staff with his motivational speech about the latest techniques of emergency operations in our day to day life.
Earlier, Principal of Bhargava Public School, Vivek Arora presented Welcome address, while Chairman of the School, Parkash Sharma, (Ex-MLA) appreciated the initiative taken by School Principal.
