JAMMU, May 16: In order to boost the morale of young and talented singers of Jammu, Danesh Rana, IGP Jammu Zone alongwith Shakeel Ahmed Beig, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range awarded cash prize alongwith certificates of recognition to the young singers namely Sunali Dogra (winner of Choona-hai-Aasman Season-1 female category), Nikhil Majora (winner of Choona Hai Aasman Season-1 male category) and Rakesh Malhotra (3rd ranking singer Choona Hai Aasman Season-3) who performed in a singing programme held during the recently concluded Police Public Cricket Premier League (PPCPL).
The young singers of Choona Hai Aasman were felicitated as per the directions of K Rajendra, DGP J&K, keeping in view their outstanding performance during the final match of PPCPL held at Science College Hostel ground in Jammu, organized by J&K Police under Civic Action Programme (CAP).
J&K Police organized various such programmes in order to bridge the gap between police and public and to provide platform to hidden talented singers/sportspersons and keep them away from social evils.
