JAMMU, Sept 17: Chiryal Club and Muttal Club crushed rivals and lifted the junior and senior categories titles respectively in the Open Invitational Kabaddi Championship, organized by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) Katra in Sports Complex, Katra.
In the junior category summit clash, Chiryal Club defeated Graan More, Reasi by 39-14, whereas in the senior category, Muttal Club clinched winner trophy and DGC Reasi remained runner-up.
On the valedictory function, Dr Piyush Singla, Additional Chief Executive Officer (CEO), SMVDSB was the chief guest, who witnessed the matches.
Later, Piyush Singla distributed prizes and trophies to the winner and runner-up teams and also presented individual prizes to the players.
In the end, Director Sports Ashok Kumar presented vote of thanks.
The matches were officiated by Kuldeep Sharma, Raj Kumar Gupta and Raj Kumar from Department of Youth Services and Sports.
