GULMARG, Mar 15: The Chinar Open Winter Games 2025, organized by the Indian Army’s Pir Panjal Brigade of the Dagger Division concluded today amidst the snow-clad landscapes of Gulmarg. This year’s event saw a record 634 participants, including 167 girls and 467 boys, competing in 18 thrilling winter sports events.
The competition featured skiing races, snowboarding, and skating, offering a platform for Kashmiri youth to showcase their talents. The Games attracted large crowds, highlighting the growing interest in winter sports in the region.
Beyond the sporting events, the Games also included outreach programs, emphasizing the Indian Army’s commitment to fostering sports and empowering youth in Kashmir. These initiatives further strengthened community ties and encouraged positive youth engagement.
