JAMMU, Apr 11: Jammu division selection tournaments started today at Ace Chess Academy Trikuta Nagar, Here today.
Tournaments started with Under-17 category, wherein four matches were played today, while other age categories events will be played from tomorrow.
In boys section, Puneet Choudhary got the first place, while Aryan and Akashdeep claimed second and third spots respectively.
In girls section, Arushi Kotwal clinched first position, while Sanjukta Sobani and Arushi Sharma won second and third places respectively.

Selected players from these events alongwith selected players from Kashmir division will represent Jammu and Kashmir State in forthcoming nationals.
