MENDHAR, Apr 10: Outplaying Friends Club Harni by (3-2) sets in the summit clash, Chattral Club lifted the title trophy of Master Karmat Ullaha Khan Memorial Volleyball Tournament at Government Girl’s High School Harni, here today.
SDPO Mendhar, Shahied Nayeem was the chief guest on the valedictory function, while Headmaster Govt GHS Harni was the guest of honour. The chief guest and the guest of honour distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
The dignitaries also presented best media coverage award to M S Nazki, President Press Council of Mendhar Poonch on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, SDPO emphasized the importance of games and sports in the one’s life and said that sports and games help in developing various skills.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were SHO Harni Sanjay Gupta Mendhar, Ex Sarpanch Harni Waseem Ahmed Khan Coy Commander 49 RR Major O S Gupta, chief organizer, Master Asif Khan Ferozal and Chairman Volleyball Club, Ajaz Khan.
