Chander’s fifty helps OCC tooutplay ICC by 4 wkts

JAMMU, Apr 25: Oriental Cricket Club (OCC) defeated ICC by four wickets in the ongoing 2nd KCSC T20 Cricket Tournament, being played at KC School ground, here.
Winning the toss and batting first, ICC scored a decent total of 165 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. For ICC, Saleem played a brilliant innings of 56 runs, studded with 4 fours and equal number of sixes, while Sahil and Imran also contributed with 27 and 21 runs respectively. For OCC, Amit was the pick of the bowlers who claimed 3 wickets in his 4 overs, while Pardeep too bowled well and claimed 2 important wickets.
In reply, OCC chased the required target by losing 6 wickets, thus won the match by 4 wickets. Chander played a magnificent inning of 66 runs with the help of 5 boundaries and 4 sixes. He was at his murderous best, hitting the bowlers with fluid grace and utter brilliance. Deepak also contributed 37 valuable runs to help the winning cause. For ICC, Ankush and Irfan claimed 2 wickets each. For splendid innings of 66 runs, Chander of OCC was adjudged as man of the match.
