JAMMU, Jan 13: Chander Shaker Azad Cricket Club and Raj Guru Cricket Club registered victories over Sparks Eleven Cricket Club and Sukrala Cricket Club respectively to advance in the ongoing BJYM’s ‘Khelega Yuva Jeetega Bharat’ Cricket Tournament, here today.
In the first match, Chander Shaker Azad Cricket Club defeated Sparks Eleven Cricket Club by 72 runs. The captain of the winning team, Anil Kumar was received a memento, while Siddhant Singh Bagal was adjudged man of the match for taking 4 wickets and Vivek Sharma top scored with 34 runs.
In another match, Raj Guru Cricket Club defeated Sukrala Cricket Club by 69 runs. Skipper of the winning team, Nishu Sodhi was presented a memento on behalf of the team, Dilbagh Singh, who scalped 5 wickets was adjudged man of the match.
While addressing the players, BJYM State general secretary and State Incharge of this Tournament, Ajay Pargal said BJYM has provided opportunity to youth to exhibit their talent in good atmosphere.
Prominent among others who spoke on the occasion were Yudhvir Sethi, Ravinder Raina.
