JAMMU, Mar 6: Chander Parkash Sharma and OD Sharma have been elected as president and chairman of the Badminton Association of Jammu and Kashmir, here today.
Dharamvir Sharma, Mohd Ifran Shah and Dr Satish Chander were elected as vice chairmen,while Balbir Singh Jamwal announced as honorary general secretary and Fayaz Ahmed and Rahul Sharma were appointed as honorary joint secretaries, besides Dushyant Sharma, NR Gupta and Subash Sharma were elected as treasurer, chairman planning and development and advisor respectively.
The election was done during the annual general council meeting which was held at Press Club Jammu wherein SC Gupta, former Senior Additional Advocate General J&K Govt, Ashok Singh (J&K Sports Council) and Rajinder (Badminton Association of J&K) were Returning Officer and observers respectively.
