CGEWCC conducts badminton matches

JAMMU, Feb 17: In the ongoing tournament of Central Government Employees Welfare Coordination Committee (CGEWCC), Jammu, badminton (doubles) event matches were played in the indoor badminton court, High School, IISM, here today.
Sixteen teams participated in the double events.
In the first semifinal, Shailesh Raina and Indu Shekhar (Radio Kashmir Jammu) defeated SK Shukla and Naveen Kumar (Centre Water Commission, Jammu) by (21-15; 21-16).
In the second semifinal, Silesh Kumar and Gaurav Chaturvedi (Special Bureau, Jammu) beat Anil & Rajesh (IIIM, Jammu) by (22-20 and 21-13).
In the final match, Silesh Kumar and Gaurav Chaturvedi (Special Bureau) outplayed Shailesh Raina and Indu Shekhar (Radio Kashmir, Jammu) by a margin of (21-15; 21- 17).
The matches were officiated by BS Bhan (Chairman), NSSO, Ashok Chaddha,  AG office, Sham Lal, CWC, Deepak Balotra, Shashi Jamwal, Vikram Abrol, Vimarsh Kaw and Anoop Magotra.
The matches were played under the guidance of SK Shukla, Director, CWC, Jammu, Teg Singh, Sr. Deputy Accountant General (Adm.) and Naveen Chaddha (Special Bureau).
