JAMMU, Dec 2: It was yet another day of fascinating cricket that was witnessed on the third day of the POWERGRID Inter Regional Cricket Tournament 2015, here. Teams fought to their level best to achieve the honours and CC was the first team to enter semifinals.
Today four matches were played at three different grounds.
WR-II defeated POSOCO by 60 runs. Batting first, WR-II scored 116 for 9 wickets in their stipulated 20 overs.
In reply, POSOCO were bundled out for 56. Tarun Dhruve of WR-II who took three wickets was declared as man of the match.
SR-I defeated NER by 6 wickets. Batting first, NER scored 101 runs in their 20 overs.SR-I chased the score in 13.5 overs losing 4 wickets in the process. Apparao SR-I who scored 34 runs and took 4 wickets was declared as man of the match.
CC defeated ER-I by 72 runs to enter semifinals. Batting first, CC scored 186 for 5 wickets in 20 overs. ER-I scored 115 runs in their 20 overs for loss of 9 wickets, thus lostthe match by 65 runs. Udit of CC who scored 93 runs was declared man of the match.
NR-II defeated SR-II by 12 runs. Batting first, NR-II scored 145 runs in 20 overs and then restricted SR-II to 133. Vinul Koul of NR-II who took 3 wickets was declared as man of the match.
