‘Career Abacus’ awards certificates, medals to meritorious students

JAMMU, Sept 28: Career Abacus, a leading Abacus Teaching Institute awarded certificates and prizes to its meritorious students in a function held at its Rehari Centre.
Arvind Sharma, Director Career Abacus was the chief guest. The function started with welcome address by a student of the Institute.
In between the function a demo of little kids was conducted by the course trainers which left the audience spell bound with the speed and accuracy of the kids.
About 42 students of the Institute were awarded Certificates of completion of 1st Stage of their Abacus Program called “Career Abacus Champ”.
Arvind Sharma, Director of the Institute informed the gathering that Career Abacus has been imparting this world class concept in Jammu for last more than 5 years. He told them that Career Abacus is having nine centres in Jammu, more than any other Abacus teaching institute which is in itself a proof of quality teaching being imparted by the Institute.
He congratulated all the students for scoring above 90% marks, encouraged the students to come upto the expectations of their parents and get ready for the “Career Abacus Championship – 2014” to be held very soon.
He stressed upon the parents to be in touch with the trainers of their children regularly for their proper feed back. He explained the benefits of abacus to the audience and stressed upon the need to teach this skill to all the students in the age group of 5 to 13 years.
He said that abacus not only helps in improving the arithmatical skills but it improves the memory, listening skills, imagination, creativity, self reliance and above all self confidence of the students.
The certificates and medals were awarded by Director, Arvind Sharma and Centre Head, Atul Mahajan.
The vote of thanks was presented by Divya. The programme concluded with the singing of National Anthem.
