JAMMU, Dec 31: The 1st Annual Day of Cambridge International School, Shahpur Kandi, Pathankot, Punjab was celebrated with zeal and zest at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium, Pathankot, Punjab.
Joginder Pal, MLA Bhoa Constituency, graced the occasion as a chief guest while Sukhpal Singh, Assistant Commissioner Development, Kathua and Vibhuti Sharma, Chairman, Improvement Trust Pathankot were the guests of honour on the occasion.
Dr Sushil Khajuria, CDPO Basohli, Geeta Mahajan, Director Operations, LWES, Vivek Arora, Principal, Cambridge International School, Jammu, Rahul Hans, Social Activist and Jugal Kishore, Senior Corporator, Pathankot were the special guests on the occasion.
The welcome address was presented by Dr Shivani Singh, Principal, Cambridge International School and the anchoring was beautifully and systematically carried out by Vijay Parihar and Seema.
The Programme started with lighting of the lamp by the chief guest followed by breathtaking Ganesh Vandana by the students dressed beautifully and equipped with Drums etc.
Thereafter, Vision statement was delivered by Geeta Mahajan, Director Operations, Learning Wings Education System (LWES).
Welcome Dance was performed by little sweet kindergarten students sending message to maintain brotherhood.
Later the galaxy of guests sitting in the auditorium was addressed by Er Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman of the school.
The function was comprised of various classical events like Laavni, Bhangra, Gidda, Garbha, Army Dance etc.
Ramayana was also performed by the students having eye catching make up to suit the drama having a message of victory of good over evil.
A School report was presented by Dr Shivani Singh, Principal of school followed by Mash-up performance by School Choir.
Th Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman of the School was also present during the programme and graced the occasion.
The programme concluded with National Anthem.
