JAMMU, Sept 19: ‘Bharat Ko Jano’, Quiz Contest was conducted by Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Jammu West Branch at Middle School Rehari/Sarwal, here today.
32 students drawn from10 educational institutions took part in the Contest and the Schools included GMS Rehari, GMS Sarwal, Indira Sagar Secondary School, Shastri Memorial HS School, Sai Montessorie School, Vimal Public School, Spring Blossom Public HSS, SSM Jammu Public School, KC Gurukul and Model High School.
The Programme began with Deep Prajwalan and Vande Matram. Sukriti, PRESIDENT OF West Branch presented welcome address and threw light on the importance of the programme.
O P Mahajan was the chief guest on the occasion, while Quiz was conducted by M L Vaid and SR Gupta, while the results were declared by Devinder Kumar.
In Jr Group, Vimal Public School, KC Gurukul and Indira Sagar Secondary School claimed first, second and third position respectively, while in Sr Group, KC Gurukul, Indira Sagar Secondary School and Sai Montessorie bagged first three positions respectively.
S K Gupta presented vote of thanks, while Amita Sharma and Arun K Sharma were present on the occasion.
