JAMMU, Nov 15: Bhartiya Shiksha Kender (BSK) Higher Secondary School Domana organised Annual Sports-cum-Prize Distribution function on the theme ‘Khelo BSK’ in school premises here today.
On the occasion, Director of school Rachh Paul Singh was chief guest while Nritya Shree Deepak Dutta famous classical dancer was guest of honour.
School Principal Sandhya Raj Pathania felicitated students who excelled in several sports activities with Bronze, Silver and Gold medal.
Director of School along with School Principal and Nrityashree Deepak Dutta felicitated Nikhil Kumar and Shivani Dutta who represented J&K at 65th National Level Championship at Bhopal conducted by DYSS. Both the students won Bronze medal in HUP-KWONDO.
Sports Section activities were managed by Monika Sharma Vice-Principal of school and supervised by Rekha Rajput along with class teachers and HODs.
Speaking on the occasion, School Principal Sandhya Raj Pathania motivated the students to be healthy, active and show active participation in sports and cultural activities too.
On the occasion, Nrityashree Deepak Dutta played the role of 3rd umpire.
In Pre-Nursery Class Cap Change event, Chatanya and Adarv secured first and second positions respectively, while Ritvik and Sanant shared third position.
In Nursery Class Jelly Fish Race, Prikshit, Pratyush and Chandan secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In LKG Class Ball Collect event, Lalita and Arnav bagged first and second positions respectively, while the third position was shared by Ayush and Laksh.
In UKG Class Ball Race event, Vediti and Ojaswi Shivani bagged first position, Sonakshi and Sabhya shared second position and Yuvraj clinched third position.
In 1st Class Obstacle Race event, Chandan, Samriti and Kritika clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In 2nd Class Blow the Balloon First event, Dev Singh, Naitik and Kanav clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In 3rd Class Balance the Plate event, Dharmesh and Kartik bagged first and second positions respectively, while Sonu Yadav and Ganish shared third position.
In 4th Class Musical Chair event, Vaishali, Varun and Kashish bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In 5th Class Lemon Spoon Race event, Islan, Pratibha Seth, Devinder, Mehak and Sakshi Chib emerged winners.
In 6th Class Relay Race event, Vishakha bagged first position, Seiya and Sumit shared second position and Abhishek secured third position.
In 7th Class 3 Leg Race event, Aryan and Aditya bagged first position, Vanshika and Bhumika clinched second position and Vavishya and Abhishek clinched third position.
In 8th Class Sack Race event, Sanjay, Yatharth and Ruby bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In 9th Class Obstacles event, Usha, Vineet and Kanav bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In 10th Class Climb the Wall event, Arushi, Basu and Shubam clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In 11th Class Crawl on Ground event, Vishav, Shubam and Varsha bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In Class 12th Obstacles event, Amrish, Shivani and Anil Sagar bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
The event concluded with National Anthem by teachers of the institution.
