BRSCC eves outplay Jammu XI by 7 wkts

SAMBA, Dec 2: Brig Rajinder Singh Cricket Club (BRSCC) defeated Jammu XI by 7 wickets in a talent hunt T20 match for female cricketers, organised by General Baj Singh Cricket Club in association with Kreeda Bharti at Badhori, near here today.
Prominent cricketers Surinder Singh Bhagal, Roopali Slathia, Sai Coach Veena Sharma, besides the chief guest Neeraj Sharma graced the opening ceremony with their presence.
Batting first, Jammu XI scored a modest total of 90 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process. Sanjana top scored with 24 runs, while Sapna contributed 20 runs to the total. Riffat Choudhary also chipped in with 12 runs.
In reply, BRSCC achieved the target in 12 overs by losing 3 wickets to win the match by 7 wickets. Sonica top scored with 38 runs while Meenu Slathia contributed 35 runs to the total. Bhavna Kumari and Riffat Choudhary took 2 wickets each for the winners.
