JAMMU, Mar 4: BN College of Education organized sports week, which commenced from February 27, 2017 and concluded in the college premises, here today.
Many sporting events were held during the week. Lot of students participated in different events.
The inauguration of the week long events was done by Er.Wasim Kohli managing director of the college along with Principal of the college, Rakesh Sharma. Different sporting events which were held during the week included lemon race, cricket match, kho-kho and badminton competitions.
In lemon race, Shabnam of the Semester 2nd was adjudged winner, while Lubna of Semester 4th and Vatsala of Semester 2nd claimed 2nd and 3rd spots respectively.
The cricket match was played between the students of Semester 2nd and Semester 4th. The team of Semester 4th was declared as the winner.
In kho-kho, Team Shabnam emerged winner, defeating the team Lubna.
In Badminton, Azka Anjum Qazi of Semester 2nd was declared as the winner.
All the events were co-ordinated and facilitated by the faculty members Ashu Handa, Ravi Hangloo and Vijayata Rani.
