SRINAGAR, Mar 21: The 2 days Khelo India Block Hazratbal Competitions concluded here at Green Valley Educational Institute.
950 players including boys and girls from Block Hazratbal took part in the competitions.
The sports disciplines included Athletics, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Wushu, Teakwando, Boxing and Volleyball. Chairman Green Valley Educational Institute was the chief guest on the occasion, while Principal G N Aali and Ranji Trophy player Mehjoor Sofi were the guests of honour.
The cash awards were distributed among the position holders on the occasion.
The chairman of the Institute appreciated the role of J&K Sports Council for conducting the competitions and encouraging the budding sportspersons.
The competitions were organized by J&K State Sports Council, under Khelo India Programme and the tournament was conducted under the supervision of Sheikh Tulal, chief Coordinator of District Srinagar.
