Bishno High School celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Dec 26: Bishno High School, Jad Akhnoor celebrated the annual day function with great pomp and show, here today.
On the occasion, Senior Vice President JKPCC & former Minister Sham Lal Sharma was the chief guest, who called for promoting moral education in all Government and Private Educational Institutions to protect age old moral ethics and rich cultural heritage of the Country.
Sharma urged that Teachers must try to stimulate students to create a hunger for learning and to expand their success in life. Teachers should be obligated to the need for the student’s individuality. He asked the teaching fraternity to help students imbibe values through education. He added that teachers are architects who shape personality of students and mould them to be good human beings.
Describing the role of the teachers and parents in the life of children, he called upon all parents to help their wards to achieve better education and become good citizens of the country.
The chief guest later-on distributed prizes among the students who excelled in academic and co-curricular activities.
Principal of School, Madan Choudhary highlighted the achievements of the school.
He expressed his gratitude to the chief guest and parents for gracing the occasion.
