JAMMU, Feb 9: Power-packed 90 runs by Amit Billowria helped Ishar Cricket Club to thrash Gangyal XI by a huge margin of 102 runs to enter semifinals of the ongoing Parmodh Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Mandal Cricket Club at Mandal, near here.
Batting first, Ishar Club scored a mammoth total of 203 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process. Amit Billowria was the top scorer with 90 runs, studded with 8 boundaries and 5 sixes, while Jatin, Deepak Dogra and Irshad contributed 22, 21 and 18 runs to the total respectively. For Gangyal XI, Wasim and Kalu bagged 2 wickets each, while Rahul claimed one.
In reply, Gangyal XI bundled out for 101 runs to lose the match by a huge margin of 102 runs. Sanjeev was the top scorer with 44 runs, while Rahul contributed 14 runs to the total. Soumay Jain was the wrecker-in-chief, who bagged 4 wickets by conceding 14 runs in his 4 overs, while Deepak Dogra, Pavit Singh Ishar and Irshad claimed 2 wickets each.
